Hyperfast NI is now live in rural Coalisland and surrounding areas!
County Tyrone is the first to benefit from hyperfast broadband connectivity as part of a £165M investment to bring full fibre broadband to the most rural areas of Northern Ireland.
Launched on the 17th November 2020, Project Stratum has now released the first connectable premises in rural Coalisland and surrounding areas. The development, which is delivered by Fibrus, is funded by the Department for the Economy (DfE) and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) and the build is planned to be completed by March 2024. This public intervention aims to maximise coverage and reach to as many premises as possible, by bringing Next Generation Access (NGA) speeds to 76,000 homes and businesses across Northern Ireland that do not yet have access to meaningful broadband services.
Over 1,700 properties can now place an order to obtain Hyperfast full fibre broadband. Please visit our Suppliers page for more information on how you can avail of this service: https://hyperfastni.com/suppliers
